Vanderbilt founders are twice as likely to build unicorn companies as founders from other universities, and a transformational $20 million gift to the Center for Entrepreneurship is making sure that advantage compounds.
The Center is the front door for founders across every Vanderbilt school, and it's moving fast. We’ve introduced Convoy Conference, a Summer Venture Immersion, an annual Startup Career Fair, and Founders Confidential, a monthly community for Nashville-area alumni building companies. Recently, a new Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition course adds another pathway, training students and alumni to identify, acquire, and grow existing businesses.

Nearly all MS Finance graduates receive offers within six months, with nearly half landing in investment banking. A significant share of accepted offers come through Owen-driven activities, including alumni referrals, faculty connections, and structured recruiting channels that reflect how deeply the Owen network runs in financial services.
At the undergrad level, the Vandy 2 Wall Street program gives students a structured, multi-phase pathway from Nashville to New York City. They complete rigorous financial modeling training before an immersive industry experience in the heart of the market they are preparing to enter.

Owen's approach to AI is built on a practical premise: the business leaders who can govern, deploy, and make decisions alongside AI systems are the ones equipped to make an impact.
Across our degree programs, AI fluency is embedded in coursework spanning analytics, marketing, operations, and strategy. Through Executive Education, we have launched Ethical AI Strategy and Enterprise Governance, an immersive program that teaches leaders to integrate AI into strategy and operations while managing risk, regulatory exposure, and organizational culture. In addition, Owen hosts the AI Governance in the Healthcare Sector forum, bringing industry leaders and researchers together on campus.

Owen's real estate strength has grown alongside one of the most active development markets in the country.
Every course is developed and taught by professionals who work in the industry full-time. Core coursework covers investment and development fundamentals, anchored by regular site visits to Nashville's most newsworthy projects and direct classroom access to the developers, investors, and city officials shaping the skyline.

Owen is building programming to match. We’ve recently launched a dual master's degree with the Real Madrid Graduate School of Universidad Europea, giving Master of Marketing students the opportunity to earn a second degree in Sports Marketing Strategy through coursework spanning sponsorship management, sports event organization, and e-sports. The inaugural cohort is already underway, with graduates entering careers across the global sports and entertainment industry.

Owen has launched a new dual-degree opportunity in collaboration with the Real Madrid Graduate School of Universidad Europea. This new partnership provides Master of Marketing students with the chance to earn a second master’s degree in Sports Marketing Strategy while gaining hands-on experience with one of the world’s most recognized sports organizations.
