Biography

Brad is a Vice President of Finance at BMC Software and currently leading company-wide efforts to move the company from a Public setting to a Private setting. Previously Brad held a Division CFO role where he managed approx. 65% of BMC's Operating Profit and Cash Flow for the multi-billion dollar software company with global operations. His efforts have been influential during the strategic due diligence process and decision to move to a private setting while managing profitability to a record 60%+ operating margins and growing the top line through organic market based strategies and inorganic M&A efforts. Brad has also led the Enterprise Risk Management efforts for Microsoft and its Board of Directors prior to joining BMC in a similar leadership capacity. In recognition of his efforts and innovation in the emerging discipline of Enterprise Risk Management, Brad was recognized as one the Top 100 Finance professionals in 2008. Prior to joining Microsoft, Brad honed his finance and strategy skills while consulting for Global 2000 clients such as HP / Compaq and Valero / Diamond Shamrock during their merger integration efforts and Cisco Systems, Delta Air Lines, Sara Lee Corp. and many other well know brand name companies in various strategic and financial engagements. Outside of his professional pursuits Brad spends the majority of his time with his wife Brenda and their four children Jacob (15), Clark (13), Lela (9), and Ava (7). Jewett holds an MBA from Vanderbilt Business School and a BBA from The University of Texas Austin.
