Formerly for Vanderbilt undergraduate business minors only, the careeraccelerating master’s program is now open to any four-year college graduate.

Master of Management Fall 2027

Making the leap from undergrad education to impact-making career is never easy. And in this competitive global economy, it isn’t getting easier. Which is why Vanderbilt Business launched Master of Management last spring. Designed as a nine-month master’s degree program, the curriculum features five concentrations—consulting, entrepreneurship, general management, healthcare, and operations & analytics. The inaugural degree, however, was open only to Vanderbilt University undergraduate business minors. Next year, that’s changing.

Beginning in fall 2027, the program will be open to anyone who has completed a four-year degree. For freshly minted undergrads facing a competitive job market, it’s an opportunity to apply for a rigorous program that can sharpen the skill sets needed for a successful and impactful career. Throughout the five concentrations, core elements like managerial finance, financial accounting, and marketing management are covered, as well as elective coursework specific to each concentration.

Ultimately, it’s a program aimed at helping young professionals learn how to adapt to fast-changing environments, solve complex business problems, and make high-impact decisions that lead to exceptional outcomes. For recent undergraduates, it’s an ideal way to bridge the gap between the end of school and the beginning of a successful and dynamic career.
