Biography
Zidi is a graduate student in the Human Development Counseling program at Vanderbilt University. Growing up in the traditional Chinese education system, Zidi has always been a student with clear preferences for certain subjects over others, which sparked her curiosity about individual differences in career interests and aptitudes. She truly enjoys getting to know individuals in depth, and she has an eye for spotting individual strengths and a talent for storytelling. Bringing her transferable skills as a college admissions counselor, she hopes to help Owen and Vanderbilt students gain awareness of and confidence in themselves, craft compelling narratives that highlight their strengths, and pursue career goals that align with their interests, values, and needs. In her spare time, Zidi enjoys cooking meals with friends, forest bathing, and playing the guitar. She is also a big Mandarin pop fan, and you can always find her at concerts or music festivals whenever she travels home.
