Accelerator®—Vanderbilt Summer Business Institute is designed to help undergrads and recent grads prepare to launch a business career. In four fast-paced weeks, students discover their strengths, develop their skills and define their career goals. Through a combination of classroom learning and hands-on experience, participants learn the fundamentals of business—from marketing and branding to finance, operations and logistics. They work on projects for real companies with invaluable advice and feedback from Vanderbilt’s world-class faculty and MBA coaches on everything from business ideas to presentation skills. Students get career counseling to help sharpen their interviewing and networking skills, as well as assistance in developing a résumé. In just 28 days, Accelerator equips students to do more than they ever imagined.
