Kimberly Pace uses her formal training in the performing arts and her experience in television and radio to bring a unique perspective to graduate business education and practice.

Consulting

As the CEO and Co-Founder of EXECUTIVE AURA, LLC, Professor Pace partners with CEOs, senior management and emerging leaders to Think, Lead, and Act like a CEO. She works side-by-side with executives to facilitate strategic retreats, create cultures of belonging, and design leadership development programs for executives. She coaches Fortune 100 CEOs and CFOs, large healthcare system CEOs, professional sports CEOs, entrepreneurs, private equity managing partners, physicians and attorneys. She is a frequent keynote speaker a t conferences on topics including Communication Strategies, Strategic Thinking, Cultures of Engagement, and Women Executive Leadership.

Expertise

Professor Pace brings her knowledge of persuasive presentations, business writing, active listening, difficult conversations, crisis communications, organizational behavior, and personal branding to her courses. She designs courses as flipped classrooms where some lectures, videos, and readings are done online on your own time, and the classroom is transformed into a live lab and masterclass. She supports students in finding their unique voice, using their authentic gifts, increasing their self-awareness for intrinsic motivation, and gaining confidence to communicate their ideas and solutions.

Leadership

Professor Pace held executive marketing and communications roles within two global on-profit agencies. Kimberly also served as the Executive Director and "on-air talent" for a radio and television program aired on Fox, CBS and NBC in 7 states to 5.5 million homes. She directed and produced the broadcasts, interviewed guests, and trained other on-air hosts.

Teaching

Professor Pace teaches management communications courses for students in the MBA, MSF, MAcc, and Accelerator programs. She leads communication workshops for the MM and EMBA students. For Vanderbilt Education, she teaches courses in Persuasive & Influential Speaking, Communication Strategies for Senior Leaders, and Women in Leadership. She also teaches executive communication topics to clients such as Monster Energy, Chick-fil-A, Dollar General, US LBM, and Lilly. As requested, she teaches Advanced Presentations to MBAs and Organization Behavior to undergraduate business minors.
