Biography

Benton (Ben) Reichenau leads the Private Client Group (PCG) Strategy for US Bank.  PCG delivers a unified customer experience for affluent clients in both Metropolitan and Community markets. Prior to joining US Bank in 2013 as Head of Product Services for Banking, Brokerage, Insurance, Investment Management and Trust across U.S. Bank Wealth Management, Ben was a Principal/Partner at Ernst & Young (EY).

At EY, Ben was the Head of West Coast Consulting for Financial Services, which included Wealth Management and Banking. He also led the national Wealth Management practice for Investment Management and Trust Products.  

Before EY, Ben was with Wells Fargo in San Francisco where he was a Senior Vice President in the Wealth Management Group.  He led the Wealth Management Group’s Investment Management and Trust Client Solutions, which includes Investment Consulting Client Solutions, Trust Client Solutions, International Client Solutions, the Money Manager Due Diligence Group, and the Integrated Investment Initiative.  

Before joining Wells Fargo in 2005, Ben was with BearingPoint in San Francisco where he was a Partner/Managing Director working in the wealth management and credit card industries.  Ben's experience spans strategy, product development, process redesign, operations, and implementation of large scale efforts.  His clients included Wells Fargo, Visa, American Express, Citicorp, Clariden Bank, Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Wachovia, and Washington Mutual.  Prior to BearingPoint, Ben worked at Merrill Lynch as a successful Financial Advisor.  

He received both his Bachelors and MBA from Vanderbilt University.
