Ian Wan

Biography

Ian has been in the financial services industry for over 12 years and is currently an Investment Counsellor at HSBC Private Bank covering clients in China and Taiwan. Prior to joining HSBC, Ian worked in the Portfolio Solutions team at Credit Suisse Private Bank, where he focused on the acquisition and retention of both discretionary and advisory mandates, covering UHNW and HNW clients in the Greater China region. Before Credit Suisse, Ian worked at UBS Wealth Management in a similar capacity, with the additional focus on both mutual funds and alternative investments. Ian started his career at JPMorgan Private Bank Hong Kong and spent more than 5 years as an Investment Advisor serving UHNW clients in the North Asia region.

He received his MBA and Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University and is also a CFA Charterholder.
