

Biography
Tripper Briggs is Vice President, Strategic Business Development –
Strategic Initiatives, at HD Supply, one of the largest Industrial
Distributors in North America. He joined in Nov. ’13 and is responsible
for developing the company’s Strategic Corporate Initiatives by
providing thought leadership and analytical support for the executive
team. He leads projects across the key Business Units to drive
improvements in Sales Growth, Margin Expansion, Cost Reduction, and Cash
Improvement in order to enhance the customer and associate experience
and to deliver increased value to shareholders. Prior to HD Supply,
Tripper worked for 7 Years at The Home Depot, where he entered as an
associate in the Business Leadership Program after graduating business
school. In his last role he served as Associate Install Merchant in the
Décor Department, managing a national network of Service Providers
installing blinds, shutters, and custom closets for Home Depot
customers. Before business school Tripper worked as an Analyst at the
Nasdaq Stock market in New York and as a Research Associate at
Economists Incorporated in Washington, DC. Tripper earned a B.A. from
Duke University in ’97 and an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University Owen
Graduate School of Management in ’06. He currently resides in Atlanta,
Georgia, with his wife, Keely.
