Leah Robinson

Sales and Marketing Analyst, Cescaphe Event Group, Philadelphia, PA

Originally, Leah Robinson wanted to get a law degree to pursue her dream of working on the business side of the entertainment industry. After discovering the MAcc Valuation program, she instead went “all in” at Vanderbilt, where she could earn an accounting and finance credential, intern with a Big Four firm and land a job, all in one year. No other program “scored on so many dimensions,” she says.

Trevor Hunt

Product Owner, Confirmation

During the culmination of a decade-long career in the U.S. Marines, Major Trevor Hunt oversaw intelligence collection and training in Afghanistan that supported Special Forces and Navy SEAL units, among others. Despite his experience and obvious skills, he knew he needed an “equalizer” to transition to a civilian career. At Vanderbilt, he found it.

Steve Brophy

VP, Government & Public Relations, Dollar General

During two decades in Washington, D.C., Steve Brophy worked for two senators, was chief of staff for a congressman, and served on a presidential commission. His experience made him a great choice when Dollar General hired him in 2010 to direct the company’s government affairs. But Steve realized that his knowledge of business needed to catch up to his knowledge of government. For that, he came to Vanderbilt.
