Brook Meissner

Biography

Brook has been at Owen’s Career Management Center since 2013. Currently, he supports coaching for Specialized Masters programs at Owen and works directly with the MS Data Science program within Vanderbilt’s Data Science Institute. Previously, he coached MBA students with a focus on international students. He started working with the Vanderbilt Career Center in 2007 and earned his M.Ed. from Peabody College’s Human Development Counseling program. Prior to his time at Vanderbilt, he taught at an international private school in Honduras, and still enjoys opportunities to be involved in the classroom. He earned his BA, majoring in History and minoring in Psychology and Theology, from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL and was born and raised in Wisconsin. Brook and his amazing wife Cara have two active children. And he always welcomes book, podcast, or restaurant recommendations.
