Liz Scowden

Biography

Liz earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from the University of Kentucky in 1992. Her diverse work experience includes pharmaceutical sales, university admissions, retail management, and co-owner of a luxurious women's clothing business. She worked for Cornell University in Undergraduate Admissions before starting her family, and later joined the Owen Admissions team at Vanderbilt in 2007. Liz has been with Office of Academic Student Affairs at Owen since August of 2010. She enjoys power walking, reading, and most of all, enjoying life and spending time with her two kids and husband.
