Matthew Cox

Biography

In 2022, Matthew joined the Executive Education team as the Associate Director of Client Experience. Prior to this position, he began his career within executive education in 2011 as an undergraduate assistant with the Auburn University Graduate Executive Programs. After graduation, he broadened his knowledge of the education field as a high school business teacher before returning to executive programming as a Graduate Research Assistant while obtaining his master’s degree at Auburn. Afterward, Matthew continued work with his alma mater and also the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s executive programs in an effort to offer learners a first-class, high-impact learning experience.

Recently, he has been working on his Ph.D. in Adult Education. His dissertation will examine the significance of international studies within executive programming. In his free time, he loves spending time with his friends and family, traveling, being outdoors, slowly learning to play guitar, and watching SEC football.
