INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

The Office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) provides support during the visa and entry process for incoming international students. All Vanderbilt Business students have an assigned ISSS advisor. Please familiarize yourself with the ISSS website, including the timeline for next steps. ISSS offers virtual sessions for incoming students to aid in the transition to Vanderbilt, and details are sent via email. 

Vanderbilt Owen Orientation

Orientation signifies the true beginning of your time as an Owen student, where faculty, staff, and students gather as a community to welcome you to the Owen Graduate School of Management. It is an informative (and fun!) experience comprised of opportunities to connect with your future classmates, learn more about resources available at Owen, and prepare for success during your time at Vanderbilt.

All incoming Owen students must participate in Orientation and the experience is comprised of several sections. A detailed Orientation schedule will be sent closer to the beginning of school.

  • Summer English for Business Purposes Program**: Monday, July 21 – Friday, August 1, 2025
  • Specialized Master Students Program Overview and Mod Zero (All incoming MAcc, MMark, MSF students): TBD
  • International Students Welcome Day (All incoming international students): Friday, August 8, 2025
  • MBA Students Program Overview (All incoming MBA students): Monday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 12, 2025
  • MBA Quant Camp (All incoming MBA Students): Wednesday, August 13 and Thursday, August 14, 2025

*Orientation dates are tentative and will be solidified during the spring 2025 semester.
