Welcome to Owen!
Welcome to Vanderbilt! We hope you consider choosing Vanderbilt as your academic home. We hope that you share in our excitement as you begin preparing to start the next step in your academic journey. Owen is a close-knit community you can call home and an environment where everything is oriented toward your success.
This admitted student website will help you begin the enrollment process. Follow the steps below for a smooth transition to Vanderbilt:
Step 1: Once you have accepted your offer of admission, you will receive an email about claiming your VUNetID. To activate your VUNet ID, click on the link provided in the email from the University Registrar’s Office. Alternately, navigate to this page and click on “Claim Student Account.”
Step 2: Once you have claimed your VUNet ID, you will receive information about immunizations, student health insurance and your Vanderbilt email.
Step 3: Set aside some time this summer to complete your Incoming Student Checklist. During Welcome Weekend, you will receive information about our incoming student checklist which is housed on the Brightspace course management center. At this time, you will be given more information on academic preparation for the fall, technology requirements, career support, and more. You will receive an incoming student checklist and will track your to-do list to get prepared for life at Vanderbilt.
