Biography

With more than 20 years of experience on Wall Street as a trader, risk manager, and author, Brendan Moynihan possesses a wealth of expertise on investing, strategy and global macroeconomics.

Impact

Brendan is the author of several books on Wall Street, including The Geometry of Hazard; Financial Origami; How the Wall Street Model Broke; and Trading on Expectations.

Leadership

Brendan is Managing Director of Marketfield Asset Management, where he helps develop macroeconomic themes for a $2 billion mutual fund. Previously, he was Senior Advisor to the Editor in Chief of Bloomberg News, managing news coverage by more than 2,000 reporters and editors in 80 countries, and editor-at-large for Bloomberg News, where he managed the popular column “Chart of the Day.”


Teaching

At Vanderbilt, Brendan teaches Managing Global Financial Risk in the Executive MBA program.
