Edmond Tapero is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Accounting at the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University. His research focuses on the intersection of cost accounting and financial accounting, with an emphasis on how cost structure choices affect traditional financial statements. His dissertation led to a paper titled “The Effect of Cost-Elasticity Choice on Loss Reversal,” which was submitted to The Accounting Review and is currently under a Revise & Resubmit decision. Before pursuing his PhD, Edmond spent nearly nine years at the Bank of Israel, where he gained valuable insights into economic policy and financial systems. He also held roles as an auditor at Ernst & Young (EY) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
