Nathan Yates

Biography

Nathan Yates is an accounting and finance professional with more than 12 years of experience. Most recently, Nathan served as Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting at OneOncology, a physician-led national platform advancing independent oncology practices. Nathan played a pivotal role in transforming the company’s internal and external financial reporting infrastructure and establishing accounting policies in critical areas such as revenue recognition, acquisitions, goodwill impairment, and equity-based compensation. A trusted advisor to finance leadership and a key liaison to external auditors, Nathan was consistently recognized as a subject matter expert on a variety of topics.

Prior to his role at OneOncology, Nathan started his career at EY, rising to the rank of Assurance Senior Manager over nearly a decade with the firm. Nathan led audit teams for both public and private clients across a range of diverse industries, including healthcare, retail, and energy. His ability to manage complex projects and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders led to his selection for a competitive international rotation in EY’s London office.

Nathan currently consults on accounting and financial reporting matters.

Nathan graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science and from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management with a Master of Accountancy.
