Scott Cloud

Biography

Mr. Cloud is the Managing Partner of Albany Road Real Estate Partners and is responsible for leading the Company’s Southeastern U.S. acquisitions and operations efforts out of Nashville, Tennessee. With over 20 years of capital markets experience, Mr. Cloud has been involved in all facets of the commercial real estate industry including acquisition, disposition, development, and asset management.

Prior to joining Albany Road, Mr. Cloud was Senior Vice President of Investments with Carter, an Atlanta-based investment and development company. In this role, he focused on sourcing new value-add and opportunistic real estate investments, leading Carter’s office acquisition efforts and pursuing new multifamily development opportunities. Before Carter, Mr. Cloud spent seven years at Parthenon Realty, an affiliate of AREA Property Partners as Vice President of Acquisitions.

Mr. Cloud has extensive experience and relationships throughout the Southeastern United States. Over his career, he has been involved with the acquisition, disposition, and development of over 16 million square feet of real estate with a gross asset value of $2.0 billion. Since launching the Southeast platform in early 2014, Mr. Cloud has sourced the acquisition of over 4,000,000 square feet of office and industrial property in the Southeastern United States for Albany Road Real Estate Partners.
