Biography

Wenyu Wang is a Visiting Associate Professor of Finance at the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University and a Professor of Finance and Peterson Chair in Investment Banking at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He joined the Kelley School in 2013 after completing his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has served as Associate Chair of the Finance Department. His research focuses on corporate finance, particularly corporate control, governance, and structural estimation. He has published 15 papers in leading journals including the Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, Journal of Accounting Research, and The Accounting Review. He has presented his research at more than 50 top finance conferences and over 40 invited seminars at major business schools worldwide.
