Xi Kang is a scholar in strategic management at Owen Graduate School of Management. Her research focuses on how firms adopt technologies and their organizational impacts.
Professor Kang’s research interests include technology management, strategic human capital, organization design, and strategy. Her research explores whether and how firms adopt artificial intelligence (AI), and the impact of disruptive technology on the Future of Work. She collaborates closely with firms to explore research questions using both quantitative methods and randomized field experiments, complemented by qualitative methods. Her research has received funding from Strategy Research Foundation (SRF) Dissertation Research Grant and Desmarais Fund for Research in AI.
