Heiki Miki

Biography

After 30 years of experience in the global steel industry with various managerial responsibilities, Heiki is now Managing Executive Officer and Division Director - Overseas Business at Shinagawa Refractories, one of the high-quality refractories suppliers in the world, serving global steel, cement, glass, and energy industries since April 2014. He also serves as Chairman at Shinagawa Advanced Materials Americas and Shinagawa Refractories Australasia, Shinagawa’s 100% subsidiary in the US and Australia. He holds MBA in Marketing from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University, Nashville TN, and a BA in Psychology from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan. Heiki splits his time in Tokyo Japan and Darien CT, where he lives with his wife Nobuko. He has two sons; Heita lives in New York NY and Taiki lives in London UK.
