James Butler is Vice President, Integrated Business Planning and Strategy, at Georgia Pacific, one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of tissue, pulp, paper, toilet and paper towel, packaging, building products, and related chemicals. He joined in Dec. ’16 and is responsible for supporting strategic initiatives across the consumer products business. Prior to Georgia Pacific, James spent over eight years solving some of his clients’ most challenging problems as a management consultant with Deloitte. Prior to business school, James held various roles in sales and marketing, most notably with International Paper. He earned a B.S. from The University of Kentucky ’01 and an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management in ’08. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, Catalina, and their two children, Mateo and Mia.
