Jason Defoor

Biography

Jason currently serves as a Freight Trader, focusing on refined product exports (gasoline, diesel, jet, etc.) from the US Gulf Coast and European markets. This role requires detailed market analysis to optimize profits on physical tanker vessels while managing market exposure through a robust focus on paper derivative trading. In this role, Jason has gained experience in complex international market dynamics and contract negotiations. Jason gained experience in freight trading through prior positions at Litasco and ExxonMobil. Prior to that, Jason proudly served as an Aviation officer in the US Army for 10 years. He maintains a passion for servant leadership and team-building.
