Leadership Symposium

This invitation only one-day event brings together five of Vanderbilt's Faculty to showcase best practices in innovation, HR strategy, attraction and retention of employees and leading with VUCA, through the lens of diversity and inclusion. 

This 1-day Leadership Symposium is designed for Senior HR Leaders of organizations large and small. Content and activity has been selected based on most relevant topics we’ve heard in the marketplace. Professor Melissa Thomas Hunt, Vanderbilt’s, Vice Provost for Inclusive Excellence and Owen Professor of Management has collaborated with other Vanderbilt professors to bring best in practice content. The day will be a combination of best Practices, lectures and guided learning delivered in an intimate environment with no more than 40 Senior HR leaders from a wide background of industry.

Note: Welcome Reception on Thursday October 4, 2018 from 5:30pm - 7:00pm

Program will run on Friday October 5, 2018 from 8:00am - 4:30pm  

What You Will Learn

This is an invitation only program with the intent of providing program attendees with best-in practice content that can be taken back to the organization immediately. Vanderbilt’s philosophy of Transformative, Relevant and Personalized Learning is the fabric of our teaching style and we hope to provide takeaways for each attendee. The combination of guest speakers, Vanderbilt professors and other HR leaders at the conference will make for a rich and engaging learning environment.
