NASHVILLE-AREA MBA PROGRAMS FILL UP, BUT JOBS ARE HARD TO FIND

A lack of jobs has sparked a surge in enrollments among college MBA programs as students take refuge in school to wait out the recession, but they may graduate before the economy recovers. JOYCE ROTHENBERG, director of the Career Management Center for the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management, said sectors considered more stable include health care and perhaps government finance jobs at the Securities and Exchange Commission or other similar offices.
