NASHVILLE, Tenn. ⎯ Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management ranked No. 25 in the U.S. and No. 51 worldwide, according to the 2011 Global MBA survey published today by Financial Times.
Owen moved up five spots in its U.S. ranking and six spots in its global ranking compared to 2010.
In addition, Owen ranked high among schools in the U.S. and worldwide on several key measures:
- Career progress rank, #5 in the U.S., #25 globally
- Career aims achieved, #16 in the U.S., #24 globally
- Job placement, #25 in the U.S., #31 globally
- Faculty research, #25 in the U.S., #31 globally
“We have worked hard to build a strong MBA program, and clearly our efforts are being rewarded,” said Jim Bradford, Dean of the Owen Graduate School. “Our students and faculty are among the finest in the world.”
Last fall, Owen welcomed its most academically competitive MBA class in the school’s history, with an average GMAT score of 673 and GPA of 3.4.
