Cambodian entrepreneur Nguon Chantha will join representatives of Nashville’s Thistle Farms and Triple Thread Apparel to discuss how businesses are addressing social issues around the world, such as unemployment, poverty and inequality.
Titled “The Power of Social Enterprise: Where Mission Meets the Marketplace,” the panel discussion will be moderated by Professor Jim Schorr of Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.
WHO: Nguon Chantha, Co-Founder and Director, Stung Treng Women’s Development Center and Mekong Blue Silk; Holli Anglin, Executive Director, Thistle Farms; and Kyle McCollum, Co-Founder, Triple Thread Apparel. Owen professor and board member of Nashville’s Social Enterprise Alliance, Jim Schorr, will serve as moderator.
