Vanderbilt Business has a passionate alumni community that is 9,500 strong and growing (not to mention the 140,000+ alumni from all Vanderbilt schools worldwide.) While Owen alumni live all over the world, the majority do stay in the United States for their postgraduate careers.
We made a heat map below that explores where Owen alumni live across the United States. Lighter colors mean relatively less alumni live there, while dark colors mean more. No surprise, Tennessee is the state where the most alumni live: 2,694 at our last count! Many alumni do choose to stay in the broader southeast region, but other states — namely California and Texas — have also drawn large number of alumni, and more and more graduates move there every year.
We also highlighted the 17 major major metro areas where Vanderbilt Business alumni have a particularly strong presence: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New York City, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.
