Students served up food from around the country and the world at the annual Welcome Weekend event

Every April, Vanderbilt hosts a Welcome Weekend for admitted students to visit the campus, take sample classes, and meet members of the Owen community. One of the weekend’s highlights is the Global Food Fest, coordinated by the Global Business Association (GBA) with help from other student organizations.
At the festival, students serve up cuisine from their hometowns and countries; this year’s spread included dishes from Texas, Louisiana, South India, Nigeria, Honduras, Colombia, Japan, Vietnam, and more.
