- The health and safety of our Vanderbilt community are our highest priority. Plans for the fall have been developed in close consultation with experts at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and our School of Nursing as well as national, state and local public health officials.
- The core of our efforts is prevention of infection: As we look forward, every one of us will need to fully commit to protecting our collective health and well-being as much as possible and play our individual part in managing the spread of the virus.
- The success of our endeavor will require a joint effort from every member of our community as we work together as One Vanderbilt.
- Limiting population density in the building is necessary to mitigate spread of the virus and keep the building open to students, faculty and staff. The more an individual interacts with others, and the longer that interaction, the higher the risk of COVID-19 spread.
- Vanderbilt is following the CDC Guidelines for Universities for reducing COVID-19 spread
