Vanderbilt Business safely welcomed new students to campus for orientation

With a vaccination policy and safety guidelines, Vanderbilt Business was able to welcome new students to campus for 2021 orientation. Orientation is a several-day experience with many opportunities for students to prepare for success at Vanderbilt.

Abiding by the contemporary CDC recommendations, the MBA Class of 2023 and 2022 Classes for Master of Science in Finance, Master of Accountancy, and Master of Marketing kicked off their school year with a Community Fair.

The Community Fair provided an opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to mingle. Local food trucks parked by Fleming Yard to provide snacks and sweet treats while representatives from campus partners and organizations set up tables for students to explore involvement opportunities.

Eric Johnson, Ralph Owen Dean, greeted students alongside the Owen Student Government and staff. The different programs hosted a variety of sessions including faculty panels, alumni-led discussions on diversity and inclusion, and a session on recruiting processes led by some of Owen’s recruiting partners.

With classes starting next week, we are happy to share some photos from orientation kick-off.
