Vanderbilt Business is excited to announce that Accelerator® Summer Business Immersion will return to an in-person format for summer 2022

The 3-week summer program is designed for college students and recent graduates interested in gaining business experience with real consulting projects and career preparation. Accelerator® fosters a collaborative environment where participants work in teams to create business solutions for companies like American Airlines, FedEx, Starbucks, and Warner Music Group. Participants have opportunities for individualized career coaching and leadership development, with access to world-class faculty and a close-knit community.

“Over the years, Accelerator® has proven to be a life-changing experience for hundreds of students; they learn and apply skills immediately for clients, with feedback and coaching from faculty at every step,” says Cherrie Wilkerson, Assistant Dean for Young Professional Programs. “Students can find their future path at Accelerator and prepare themselves to launch.  There truly is nothing quite like it.”

The 2022 Accelerator® Summer Business Immersion takes place June 5th through June 25th. Applicants must have completed at least one year of college, be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, or be within one-year post-graduation. Applications require an academic transcript, resume, letter of recommendation, statement of purpose, and video question response.

The early application deadline with an opportunity for the early bird discount is coming up on December 5th.

“I would recommend Accelerator® to any student considering a career in business,” says Kayla Armgardt (MBA‘18), Assistant Vice President and Associate Relationship Manager at M&T Bank. “In addition to learning the fundamentals from a top-notch faculty, you will tackle dynamic, real-world business projects, and also identify your preferred working/leadership style, which will help you succeed in any future career.”
