The Vanderbilt Executive MBA (EMBA) Program is thrilled to announce Emma Horn, Executive Director, KFC Foundation, as the 2023 recipient of the EMBA Nonprofit Management Scholarship.
Horn has demonstrated a commitment to community throughout her 15-year career in the nonprofit sector. Having served as Executive Director of the KFC Foundation for the past 4 years, Horn leads an organization that invests in the future of KFC restaurant employees through education, hardship assistance, community giving programs, and more.
“I love that I get to be a part of changing lives for the better of thousands of people across the country,” says Horn. “Our work at the KFC Foundation is making an impact by supporting and empowering restaurant employees to be their selves.”
“We are thrilled to offer the EMBA Nonprofit Management Scholarship to Emma Horn and look forward to having her join us in the fall,” says Juli Bennett, Executive Director, Vanderbilt Executive MBA. “Emma embodies much of what Vanderbilt Business stands for with her steadfast commitment to nonprofit leadership.”
The EMBA Nonprofit Management Scholarship is offered annually in partnership with the Center for Nonprofit Management (CNM). The scholarship covers 100% of tuition expenses and is valued at over $120,000. Executives or senior staff members of qualified 501(c)3 organizations with a commitment to nonprofit service are eligible to apply. Candidates must meet all EMBA admissions requirements and be admitted to be considered for the scholarship.
“I am honored to be the 2023 recipient of the EMBA Nonprofit Management Scholarship,” says Horn. “I look forward to participating in the Vanderbilt EMBA program and am excited to refine my business and leadership skills. I’ll leave the program better able to serve the KFC Foundation and as a stronger community leader.”
