Alexis Coulter

Biography

Originally from Iowa, Alexis has a love of cheese, the outdoors, and small talk. Alexis joined the Specialized Masters team in September 2023, where she serves as a Program Manager. Alexis received her B.S. in Biology from Iowa State University and has an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Vanderbilt's Peabody. With a passion for facilitating growth in others, Alexis is excited to help students discover their potential at Owen.

Prior to her current role, Alexis served 500+ Vanderbilt undergraduate students as a Career Coach to support students in preparing for post-Vanderbilt life. Her experiences also include working in admissions and at a college-access nonprofit to support scholars through the college process. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, taking care of her 30+ plants, and collecting postcards from her travels.
