Biography

Alicia is charged with executing a cohesive strategy across all program-specific and school-wide marketing efforts. She oversees cross-program efforts and ensures that our brand is consistently applied across all of our channels. In conjunction with the marketing managers and the senior director, she also fosters and grows the partnerships we’ve developed with programs to make sure our objectives and strategies are in line with their needs. 

Alicia first came to Owen on a project basis in 2015 before joining in a full-time capacity the following year. As a marketing manager, she brought extensive marketing experience and a deep tool kit to bear for the Young Professionals programs. She operates in the spirit of partnership and always with an eye for growth. Along with launching initial marketing efforts for the Master of Marketing program, she has overseen very successful marketing strategies for the Career Launcher programs including Accelerator-Vanderbilt Summer Business Institute, Master of Marketing, MS Finance, Master of Accountancy (MAcc Assurance and MAcc Valuation). Prior to Owen she was a freelance writer, editor and marketing consultant. She worked for Lifeway Christian Resources for almost 10 years in various roles ranging from marketing, event coordinating and editing. She spent her early career as a marketing professional at several companies in the music industry. In her spare time, Alicia enjoys being with family and friends, watching Netflix and exploring new places. She is a coffee enthusiast, avid reader, aspiring novelist and fan of all things baseball.
