As Chief Business Officer, Caitlin is responsible for guiding management of financial resources and leading the finance and human resource functions within the school. In partnership with the Dean, Provost and University Finance, she leads and advises on financial and business operations matters and plays a key role in overseeing, guiding and implementing strategic priorities for the Owen School.
Following graduation from Villanova University, Caitlin launched her career in public accounting with EY, serving assurance clients in the Washington, DC area. She transitioned to a project accounting role at EYA, a urban infill developer and home builder, where she fell in love with real estate and worked as the company's Controller until deciding to take on business school full-time. Loving every minute of her Owen MBA experience, Caitlin served as an OSGA Senator and then EVP, spent a Maymester in Germany, traveled to India for a leadership conference and loved getting to know a thriving Nashville. After an action-packed two years at Hilton in DC getting to know the hospitality industry, including working through the IPO and leading the implementation of a global equity incentive plan...Nashville called again. Returning to Owen in July 2015, Caitlin has immersed herself in working at Vanderbilt and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement in the complex world of higher education.
