Christie returned to Vanderbilt in October 2012, from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where she served as Senior Associate Director of Admissions and Recruiting since 2003. Christie began her MBA admissions career at Vanderbilt in 1997, where she oversaw international recruitment and exchange programs. She completed a B.A. at Jacksonville University in Florida and a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1999. She brings industry experience outside of education, ranging from publishing to crude oil trading to international marketing—knowledge that helps us incorporate the needs of the Career Management Center with our admissions strategies. Christie’s international admissions experience both at Vanderbilt and Dartmouth is extensive; she has traveled to 75 countries; lived and worked abroad in Italy, France and Monaco; speaks French and Italian fluently and Spanish conversationally. Outside of work, Christie loves ice hockey, cooking, wine tasting, music and above all, her two dogs. She is our representative to the Forte Foundation for Women and staff advisor to the Armed Forces Club, Women in Business Club, Owen Out & Allied, and the Texas Club.
Christie is the Admissions representative for Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Canada and Europe, and for all Armed Forces candidates.
