Gabriela Luis

Biography

Gabriela joined the Owen community in 2023 as an Associate Director of MBA Recruiting and Admissions. In this role, she serves as the main point of contact for Military and Veteran candidates and Dual Degree candidates. She also leads the Inside the MBA organization, a partnership led by Owen with 15 other business schools. Gabriela holds a B.A. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a M.Ed. in Enrollment Management and Higher Education Policy from Vanderbilt University. Prior to joining Owen, Gabriela worked in the international higher education field for close to a decade, helping recruit, admit, and support students in undergraduate study abroad programs around the globe. She has also worked with an international human rights organization in D.C. and a higher education access non-profit in the Bay Area. During her spare time, Gabriela loves visiting new places and trying the many new restaurants Nashville always has to offer!
