Ginny Ling

Biography

Born and raised in Northern China, Ginny graduated from Swarthmore College, PA, with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Economics. She went on to pursue an investment banking career in J.P. Morgan Hong Kong and London, where her most recent role was Executive Director and Head of Offshore China Debt Capital Markets. After 14 years, Ginny decided to change career directions and returned to the United States in August 2021 to pursue a M.Ed at Vanderbilt in Human Development Counseling. She joined the Owen Career Management Center in March 2022 and serves as the career coach for Master of Finance students. Ginny is passionate about mental well-being at individual and institutional levels. She likes to explore what Nashville has to offer with friends and her dog, Jimmy, in her spare time.
