Biography
Heather joined us from Kentucky Downs, where she served as a marketing manager responsible for development and execution of the horse racing track’s and gaming center’s marketing plan. Prior to that, she spent 15 years at Western Kentucky University, first as the Founder and Director of a student-run advertising and public relations agency, and later as the marketing manager for their regional campuses. Her experience in and out of higher education is a tremendous benefit for Young Professional programs and the Marketing and Communications Team. Heather oversees marketing strategies for the Career Launcher programs including Accelerator-Vanderbilt Summer Business Immersion, Master of Marketing, MS Finance, Master of Accountancy (MAcc Assurance and MAcc Valuation).
Heather was born and raised in San Diego, California. Heather and her husband are the proud parents of two shelter dogs-Chica and Charlie. Heather loves being an aunt and spending time with family and friends. In her spare time, Heather enjoys the great outdoors, hunting for antiques and funky junk to sell or keep and seeking out new adventures and unique travel experiences. She could eat tacos every day!
