Lacie Blankenship

Biography

Lacie came to Owen in 2021 to serve as a Communications Specialist. She focuses on faculty-related content and Owen-related news. A 2021 graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill, Lacie considers herself to specialize in public relations writing. She spent her time at UNC earning a degree in Public Relations and Advertising through UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media. She also earned a minor in Studio Art, focusing primarily on ceramics and curation. Growing up in Western North Carolina, Lacie was taught the importance of porch-style, authentic connections, and the power of education. She is thrilled to translate and combine her personal values to serve the community at Owen School of Management. In her free time, Lacie enjoys DIY projects, trying new recipes, tending to her growing plant collection, and spending Saturday mornings at farmers’ markets.
