Macie Smitherman

Biography

A graduate of the Vanderbilt's MBA program, Macie began her post-graduate career at Continental Airlines as a Revenue Management Analyst. Macie spent the next 11 years working at a variety of corporations in positions ranging from Marketing and Sales to Business Ethics and Project Management. In 2010, Macie joined the Marketing Department at the Owen Graduate School of Management, and was instrumental in helping launch the new Owen website in the fall of 2010. In 2011, Macie joined the Executive Programs office. As Associate Director, Macie is responsible for executive student support and services, managing recruiting events and communications, and other program coordination to support the Faculty Director and Executive Director. Macie grew up in Nashville where she was a competitive swimmer for 13 years. Besides her Sudoku habit, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending her free time with her husband, 2 boys, 2 dogs, and extended family.
