Scott Handley

Biography

Scott, a native of Wisconsin and former Naval Officer, brings almost twenty years of recruitment and strategic enrollment management experience to Vanderbilt. For close to a decade, he managed talent initiatives at the University of San Diego, which then led him to pursue corporate recruiting leadership roles across a number of industries, including defense technology, finance, cybersecurity, and tech. Most recently, Scott founded Osprey Talent Solutions, a consulting firm that focuses on mission-critical talent strategy for the defense industry.

Throughout his career, Scott has served in roles that have allowed him to provide mentorship to aspiring business leaders, veterans, and students, as well as, create programs that help them advance in their careers and educational pursuits. With a passion for providing opportunities for others, Scott is excited to help Owen students thrive.
