Todd joined the Student Programs Office as Director in June 2020, following a 20-year career in higher education administration. Most recently, he served as the Director of Admissions at Yale Law School, where he oversaw all operational aspects of the admissions process. Prior to that, Todd advised students and alumni at the University of Pennsylvania for eleven years as they applied to the full range of graduate and professional school programs, ultimately supervising the advising team. He has also held administrative positions at Columbia Law School, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the Graduate School of Education at Columbia University, Teachers College. Todd's academic background is in psychology and counseling which, throughout his career, has consistently informed and defined his work with students. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Muhlenberg College and his M.A. in Psychology in Education from Columbia University, Teachers College. A native New Yorker, Todd is a lifelong tennis player (and watcher), a devoted fan of NBC’s The Office, a daily completer of New York Times crossword puzzles, and he enjoys exploring Nashville with his dog, Cooper.
