Biography

Biography

Todd joined the Office of Academic & Student Affairs as Director in June 2020, following a 20-year career in higher education administration. In this role, he oversees the student experience at Owen – in and outside of the classroom – for current students across all academic programs. Most recently, he served as the Director of Admissions at Yale Law School, where he evaluated applications on the Admissions Committee and oversaw all operational aspects of the admissions process. Prior to Yale, Todd advised undergraduate students and alumni for eleven years at the University of Pennsylvania, as they applied to the full range of graduate and professional school programs, ultimately supervising the advising team. He has also held administrative positions at Columbia Law School, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the Graduate School of Education at Columbia University, Teachers College.

Todd's academic background is in psychology and counseling which, throughout his career, has consistently informed and defined his work with students. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Muhlenberg College and his M.A. in Psychology in Education from Columbia University, Teachers College. A native New Yorker, Todd is a lifelong tennis player (and watcher), a devoted fan of NBC’s The Office, and a daily completer of New York Times crossword puzzles.
