ARE YOU READY TO EXPERIENCE NASHVILLE?
With Welcome Weekend approaching - we are excited to announce organized Nashville excursion options for Saturday, April 13! While these excursions are optional, it is our hope that you will take advantage of these opportunities as they will allow you time to socialize with current and fellow prospective students while giving you a true preview of what Nashville has to offer!
Excursion Descriptions:
- These two tastings/tours are full! Diskin Cider or Fat Bottom Brewery: Our city is home to many start-up and established breweries. To get a sense of some of the unique offerings, join us for a tasting and tour at either Diskin Cider or Fat Bottom Brewery.
- Frist Art Museum Tour: Visit and tour Nashville's premier art museum that is currently hosting an exhibit with works from Van Gogh, Monet, and Degas.
- Vanderbilt Campus Tour / Parthenon Walk: Nashville's Parthenon is a full scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. This iconic structure is within walking distance of campus. You'll take a walk through Vanderbilt's historic campus, walk through the West End neighborhood and visit the Parthenon which is located in a beautiful city park.
- Percy Warner Park Hike: Did you know that there are over 16 miles of hiking trails within Nashville? Spend some of your Saturday outdoors by joining in on this short and easy hike (approx. 2.5 miles).
Complete your excursion preference form as soon as possible (the deadline to submit this form is Monday, April 8). Please complete the form even if you are not planning to participate in an excursion so we can obtain an accurate headcount.
