Social Enterprise at Vanderbilt Business

In recent years, social enterprise has assumed a greater role in the lives of many students at Owen and across Vanderbilt’s graduate programs, due in large part to the TFC, or Turner Family Center for Social Ventures, which was founded in 2015.

Before the holiday season, we spoke with second-year MBAs Tori Samples and Kayla Armgardt, as well as MBA alum and current VU law student Nat Robinson, about their startup concepts, which include Leaf, which earned a Sohr Grant this fall, and SoLLago, a recently named regional finalist in the 2018 Hult Competition. They also talk about the impact of the TFC and how students can get involved in social enterprise.
