Biography

Robert is the founding member of Southeast Apartment Investors and a managing member of Fat Pitch Capital, a private investment partnership. He also serves on the advisory board of Fitch Irick Partners.

Robert was a founding member of Bennett Lawrence Management a NY-based investment management company that grew to over $2 billion in assets under management while he was there.

Robert holds an AB from Davidson College, a MBA from Vanderbilt University and is a CFA charter holder.

Robert is an active member of numerous community organizations.  He is the chairman of the board of the Novant Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, a member of the executive committee of the board of the Physician’s Impact Fund and a member of the executive committee of the Board of Trustees at The Fletcher School.  He serves on the advisory board of the John Montgomery Belk Scholarship and is is a past two-term member of both the Board of Visitors at Davison College and the Davidson Athletic Foundation.

Robert is married with two children and lives in Charlotte, NC.
