Vanderbilt Executive Education earned “Best Online Program,” one of five awards presented at ProEd’s 40th Annual Conference on Management & Executive Development (CMED) on November 19th.
Business Essentials for Managers, an online program delivered in partnership with Coursera, earned the recognition. The four-course specialization provides hands-on training in four key areas: innovation, finance and accounting, strategy and operations, and leadership.
“We are thrilled and honored to win this national award from CMED for the best online program,” said Skip Culbertson, Executive Director of Vanderbilt Executive Education. “It is a testament to the talents of our video production team, engaging faculty presenters, and interactive design principles. The best thing of all is that students around the world can benefit from this relevant educational experience on their own schedules.”
CMED, held in Austin, Texas, brings together university executive education and professional development centers from around the world. This is the first year that awards have been presented at the conference.
ProEd exists to serve the university management, executive, and professional education community. We are former center directors and marketing managers who understand the business and recognize the need for opportunities to exchange ideas and share best practices. We know the value of executive and professional education in the lives of working professionals, and we want to help your school or center succeed because your programs change lives.
