Women share their Vanderbilt experience.

If you are directly out of college, our Master of Accountancy, Master of Marketing and Master of Science in Finance programs allow you to jump-start a career in accounting, marketing or finance. If you have a few years of work experience and want to catapult your career or change your path, our full-time MBA may be for you. For executives, we offer an Executive MBA or a Global Executive MBA-Americas for those looking to advance their careers while continuing to work.

By the numbers

The year we became a partner with the Forté Foundation, an organization that helps launch women into careers in business. Since then, we have named 106 women as Forté Fellows.

Forté events including Forté Womens Leadership Conference
The Forté Foundation holds events throughout the year for college students and MBA candidates. In the Fall many Vanderbilt MBA and MBA candidates participate in their Forté MBA Women's Leadership Conference. For a list of Forté events click here.

National Association of Women MBAs National Conference
This conference and career fair is designed to assist women, both students and professionals, as they continue along the journey to develop and enhance their leadership skills.

Vanderbilt offers scholarships for our full-time MBA and Executive MBA programs ranging from $10,000 to full tuition. Scholarships are awarded based on the degree to which an individual demonstrates support of the academic, personal or professional advancement of women. Click here to learn about our scholarships, including the Forté Foundation Fellowship.

When we changed our Executive MBA program format to Saturday-only on alternating weekends, the percentage of women participating in the program grew from 10% to 25% and is currently over 30%. Why? Women work extremely hard to keep all aspects of their professional and personal lives in balance and shouldn’t have to sacrifice either in order to grow their careers and skill sets.

Vanderbilt's Executive MBA programs give women more of what they are seeking, including opportunities to learn and grow with a team of intellectual peers, more experience in a real-world business environment and more time for those things in life that are important.
